The food at The New Inn is exceptional, with high-quality ingredients sourced locally. The pizzas stand out as being particularly excellent, far exceeding expectations for a chain establishment. The manager was responsive to feedback and assured that minor issues would be addressed promptly. My double room was adequately maintained, providing a comfortable setting for business.
Some infrastructure issues impacted the stay, including unreliable WiFi.

The scotch egg starter was a standout, deliciously made with high-quality ingredients.
Although the room was clean and tidy, the décor felt quite dated and could use a refresh.

Staying at this place with the family and our baby was a joy. The building's charm and quiet surroundings were perfect for a relaxing getaway. Breakfast was an incredible treat, particularly the cooked-to-order full English with top-notch ingredients. Best breakfast experience!
My kids wished there were more activities for them to enjoy.

The room was a decent size, though it showed some signs of wear. Although breakfast options were somewhat limited, the quality of the homemade soup during dinner was impressive. It was surprising that it took 25 minutes for a simple breakfast order of poached eggs and bacon, but the service was prompt once I inquired about it. Nonetheless, the atmosphere remained pleasant and welcoming throughout my stay.

The atmosphere was charming and the building's character really impressed me. I particularly enjoyed a juicy burger during dinner, which showcased quality ingredients. the check-in process was disorganized, and the room felt somewhat dated, lacking a fresh touch. Service was inconsistent. staff seemed preoccupied. I also noticed a lack of engagement from the team, as no one checked on us after our meal, which felt quite disappointing.
